Indonesian products, cultural performances, tourism destinations, traditional food, and more will be brought closer to the Cambodian public at Sousdey Indonesia 2026, taking place on September 19–20 from 10 AM to 8 PM, at Hall L of the Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Centre in Koh Pich, Phnom Penh.
Organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Phnom Penh, Sousdey Indonesia 2026 celebrates the friendship between Indonesia and Cambodia. More than an exhibition, the event offers visitors an opportunity to discover, taste, shop, trade, and learn more about Indonesia in one place.
Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Phnom Penh, Krishnajie Partadiredja, said that Sousdey Indonesia is designed to bring the two countries and their people closer through a shared experience of trade, culture, tourism and education.
“Sousdey Indonesia is an opportunity for our Cambodian friends to experience Indonesia in Phnom Penh. Through this event, we hope visitors can discover the diversity of Indonesia, from our products and cuisine to our culture, tourism and education opportunities, while strengthening the close friendship between our two countries,” said Krishnajie.
Visitors can explore and purchase a wide range of Indonesian products, including food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, fashion, handicrafts, lifestyle and creative economy products. This year, 31 exhibitors will take part in the event – 28 Cambodian companies distributing Indonesian products, and three Indonesian companies. Those planning their next holiday can also discover Indonesia’s diverse tourism destinations, from Bali, to many other destinations across the country.
Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Krishnajie explained that the Embassy decided to feature more Cambodian companies in this year's exhibition in order to raise awareness about the Indonesian products already being distributed within the Kingdom. The three Indonesian companies invited to take part also primarily represent the beauty and personal care industry, as such product have been identified to have potential for export to the Cambodian market.

Sousdey Indonesia 2026 will also put young Cambodians at the centre of the programme through two new competitions: the Indonesian Song Karaoke Competition and Batik Styling Challenge. The competitions aim to make cultural exchange more fun and interactive, while giving Cambodian youth an opportunity to experience Indonesian music and fashion.
For students, the event will also provide chances to learn and explore higher education opportunities in Indonesia. The Smart Connect Workshop, organised in collaboration with Smart Axiata Cambodia, will introduce practical digital skills and show students how the internet can help them learn, develop skills, find opportunities and prepare for their future, including the opportunity to study in Indonesia.
The celebration will continue in the evening with two Cultural Nights, featuring music and cultural performances that highlight the friendship between Indonesia and Cambodia. Special performances by SAI and Nem Tum will also bring contemporary music and youthful energy to the stage.
The Embassy extends its sincere appreciation to Smart Axiata Cambodia for its valuable support and collaboration in making Sousdey Indonesia 2026 possible.
The Embassy warmly invites Cambodian families, young people, students, food lovers, shoppers, entrepreneurs and everyone interested in Indonesia to join the celebration. Admission is free and open to the public.
