Cambodia and Pakistan signed three key documents to promote deeper bilateral trade cooperation and expand economic engagement on February 11, 2026, following the 2nd Cambodia-Pakistan Joint Trade Committee meeting held in Islamabad. 


H.E. Cham Nimul, Cambodian Minister of Commerce, and H.E. Jam Kamal Khan, Federal Minister of Commerce of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, co-chaired the 2nd Ministerial Meeting of the Cambodia-Pakistan Joint Trade Committee, with the participation of relevant ministries and agencies from both countries.


According to an announcement released by the Ministry of Commerce, the two sides mutually commended growing sectoral synergies and exchanged views on breaking down trade barriers, focusing on enhanced market access as the primary goal for bilateral growth.


Additionally, both parties discussed follow-up actions, such as drafting Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) across several sectors, to serve as a foundation for comprehensive economic cooperation.

The three key documents signed at the conclusion of the meeting were the Meeting Minutes, a Joint Statement on the official launch of the Cambodia-Pakistan Preferential Trade Agreement, and an MoU on Trade Promotion.
